Happy Tuesday friends! I'm so excited to share with you my great fortune of guest designing with my favorite card company The Stamps of Life! Today is an amazing day indeed!
Warm weather is sneaking up on us, so it's a perfect time to dive in using TSOL Mermaid2stamp set! The mermaids are incredibly adorable and lend themselves to a variety of designs for example: Hello, Here for You, Happy Birthday and even Get Well. Ready to create? Let's start!
For this card, I started with a TSOL Ocean standard A2 size cardbase. Next, I adhered an orange panel from the Make a Wish Collection leaving an 1/8" border all the way around my cardbase. I used TSOL stictched rectangle die set - the largest die in that set - to cut the yellow striped panel from the Shine Collection paper pad. This pad is so bright and fun! Then, I used the free anniversary Mini Shells2stamp set to randomly stamp onto a large white panel. Become a club member today and reap the rewards! Afterwards, I Copic colored all the images in hues of orange and yellow and trimmed the panel down to 4 x 5.25". I glued this panel onto my yellow stripped stitched panel using the Adhesive tape runner. I popped some foam tape onto the back of this panel and adhered it directly onto my cardbase.
Lastly, I copic colored a mermaid and the rock images from Mermaid2stamp set. Using the die cuts from the set, I cut the images out and put some foam tape on the back of each. Next, I stamped the sentiment, " You Make Me Come Out Of My Shell" from Sayings4shells set onto an Ocean piece of cardstock and put some foam tape on the back as well. I positioned the mermaid and the sentiment onto my card and finally embellished it with some sequins and TSOL rhinestones.
I hope you will try this design! Thank you for joining me today on our card adventure!
Have a lovely day!
