Hello my beeUtiful friends and thank you for swinging by for another adventure! Let's get started!
I had so much fun playing with the Hive4Bees stamp. I started with a Powdered Sugar panel that I die cut using the largest stitched rectangle die. Then I used Stephanie Barnard's Sizzix Hexagon triplets dies and made a pattern on that panel. I trimmed a banana backing panel from the Believe Collection pattern paper pad and adhered it to the hexagon die cut panel. I stamped all the images from Hive4Bees stamp set and Copic colored each image. I wanted a bee to go in the opposite direction, so I used Palette4mirror which is invaluable! You can take any stamp and make a mirror image, which is fantastic. Afterwards, I took the House Fold-its and used the tree trunk and smallest tree greenery dies. I shaded in the trunk and all the greenery. At this point, I started assembling my card. I turned the tree trunk into a branch and used foam tape only on a few pieces of the greenery to create a bit of depth. I also used foam tape on the bee hive to pop it up from the tree branch. I added all my bees and created a banner with "Bee You" for my sentiment. I added foam tape to the back of my finished panel and secured it to my banana cardstock cardbase. Finally, I placed Clear Mirror Epoxy drops which I received in March's TSOL card kit randomly on my card. A huge benefit of being a TSOL member is the extraordinary embellishments that you collect! I absolutely love these clear epoxy drops! Are you a TSOL member? Join today!
