Hello beautiful people and welcome to another card crafting adventure. Today we delve into more real estate for our creativity. Do you ever find yourself with not enough space to put all your cuteness on your cards? Especially when we have so many cute Stamps of Life products to incorporate! Well, today we will try our hand with the slimline card. The slimline card measures 3.5" x 8.5" and uses an A9 envelope which measures
5.75" x 8.75" Let's go ahead and start!
Since I want my focus to be on the panel, I use Powder Sugar Cardstock as my cardbase. I cut down another white panel leaving .25" all the way around and use TSOL sky and mint chip ink pads to blend my sky and grass area. I then stamp small background stars randomly all over my panel. These stars come from Stars4you stamp set. I stamp the Mouse Pudgie and Bananasplit2stamp images and Copic colored them. I then arrange them onto my panel first to get an idea of my composition. To create a bit of depth, I decide to foam tape the Bananasplit2stamp, ice cream scoops and cherry. The Mouse Pudgie is adhered directly onto my panel. I add die cut balloons with baker's twine from the Elephant Pudgie stamp and die set as well as my all time favorite die cut flowers from Wreaths2stamp and embellish them with Nuvo drops.
I certainly hope you try the slimline card and take advantage of all that wonderful real estate!
Have a wonderful day,
