Let's be Positive!

Hello everyone! I have this fabulous AMAZING TSOL background die that Stephanie has designed, which is super versatile for Birthdays, Get Well and Mother's Day.....which everyone should be cranking out right about now;)

This card was inspired from a YT video by Jennifer McGuire. She creates ways of stretching our background dies and that's exactly what I wanted to show you! So let's dive right in and I'll take you right through this process!

First blend the following inks: Razzleberry, Tangerine and Lemonade in a circular motion. First laying down the ink to saturate the paper, then you want to go back and draw a bit of the inks into each other to create a soft blend. It does take quite some time to do this, be patient and work with the inks. After you are satisfied with the color, you can cut down your panel cutting off any parts that don't look right. Size it down to 4" x 5.25" Next glue your panel to some ordinary white craft foam. After the panel is dry, place the TSOL Floral Background Die onto the panel and run through your die cutting machine. I suggest you run it through several times since the craft foam is thick and this is a very intricate die. The panel comes out of your machine all together which is fabulous, making this next step so easy. Turn your panel over, and on each section, each dot, star, and flower place a very strong liquid glue and adhere to your cardbase. Wait 15-20 minutes until your cardbase is completely dry. Remove the outline of the die, and what is left behind is the positive of the flowers, dots, stars of this fabulous die! It makes for a dramatic card! I chose to not use the frame and make second card, however; it can easily be done and all you need to do is add a stamp and a sentiment! Two cards in one sitting!

To finish the card, heat emboss in white the Shine sentiment and place on vellum shadow. I finished the card as follows:

I hope you enjoyed our little adventure today! As always, I am beyond grateful that you came to visit! Please, leave me a comment on my home page! I do love to read those<3
