Feelin' Charlotte's Web!

Hello my friends!

You will find a few style updates to my website's home page. This marks a new chapter in my crafting journey and I hope you will reembark for this adventure. I like to keep my hands busy with crafting and tend to forget to blog about my creations. I believe now I have more time to do both, so I am excited to relaunch my crafty column and hopefully include some useful tips and tricks along the way. If you have any questions, reach out on any of my SM sites and direct message me. The SM links can be found on my home page.

Let's get to my chunky shabby chic Fall tag! I'm entering this tag in September's FARM ANIMAL Use Your Stuff Challenge. This is my first time participating in this challenge and I'm super excited about it! Isn't it wonderful to have a challenge blog that encourages makers to delve into our stash and create! I love that idea and I'm fully on board!

This is me fully on board >.<

I love Fall and of course ever since I was a little girl, Charlotte's Web. I wanted to mesh the two ideas and create a chunky tag design. I hot foiled the pumpkin and leaves using my Spellbinders Hot Foil System and the Spellbinders October 2019 Glimmer Kit of the Month. Then began Copic coloring all images using colors listed below:

Copic Colored The Stamps of Life MoreFarmAnimals2stamp set:RV11, RV13, RV14

Copic Colored Spellbinders October 2019 Glimmer Kit of the Month Pumpkin and Leaves:YR00, YR02,YR04 G21, G24,G28

Using the coordinating dies, all images were die cut. I also die cut 3 tags using The Stamps of Life Scalloped Tags out of Kraft CS and also out of Spellbinders Express Yourself paper pad. I used The Stamp Market Good Ole Gingham Background Stamp to create the chocolate buffalo check pattern on the Kraft CS. Using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink, I inked up all the edges. I also used Abandoned Coral on the smaller Scalloped tag to achieve the same color as my Copic colored "Wilbur". For the finishing touches, I grabbed some burlap, some extremely old but never used EK Success Adornment ribbon and a chipboard sentiment strip from Spellbinders Express Yourself Card Kit.

Thank you for joining me today! Hope your creativity brings you much happiness and endless possibilities.
